Bulk task upload

1. What is the Bulk task upload functionality?

Bulk task import allows the customer to create up to 1,500 tasks at once by uploading an Excel file to the system.

2. How to start using bulk task import?

  1. Go to the "Tasks" page.
  2. Click the "Bulk task upload" button.
  3. Download the Excel file template.
  4. Fill in the file with the required information.
  5. Upload the file to the system.

Please see the step-by-step instructions on how to upload a file for bulk upload of tasks.

3. What format should the file be for import?

The file should be in Excel format (.xlsx). To simplify the import process, download the template from the website, which includes all the necessary columns.

4. What data should be included in the Excel file?

The file should contain the following columns:

  • Email: The assignee's email address.
  • Cost: The amount the assignee should receive (you can specify a number rounded to two decimal places).
  • Currency: The currency (RUB, EUR, USD).
  • Service_id: The service code.
  • Title: Task name.
  • Description: Task description.
  • Deadline: Task deadline.
  • Report needed: Enter 1 if a report from the assignee is required, or 0 if not.

5. How to choose the correct service codes for the "service_id" column?

You can find the service codes on the task import page in the modal window that opens when you click on "Service Codes". You can search for codes by category and service name.

6. How to upload the file to the system?

Once the file is filled out, it needs to be uploaded to the system. You can either drag and drop the file into the upload field or click on the field to select it.

7. How does the system check the uploaded file?

The system checks the file for errors. Errors are divided into two types:

  • Critical errors:
    • Insufficient funds on the balance.
    • Incorrect file extension (e.g., PDF instead of Excel).
    • Incorrect file structure (missing or extra columns).

If a critical error occurs, the file upload will stop, and you will need to correct the error.

  • Non-critical errors: For example, a non-existent service code in one of the rows. In this case, you can choose to:
    • Ignore errors — tasks without errors will be uploaded.
    • Fix errors — download the file with errors, correct them, and upload the file again.

8. How does the system inform me about errors?

If there are errors in the file, they will be highlighted in red. The error message will appear in the cell's comments. You can download the file with the errors to fix them and upload it again.

9. What to do if the file wasn't uploaded despite completing all the steps?

Sometimes, there may be system glitches that are not related to your file. In such cases, the system will show an error message and ask you to upload the file again. This is rare, and there’s no need to worry — simply retry the upload.

10. Where can I find uploaded files and check their status?

You can go to the "Bulk upload history" tab, where you can:

  • View all your previously uploaded files.
  • Download the file and check if there were any errors.
  • Use filters to find specific imports.
  • Check the upload status (usually, right after uploading, the status will be "Uploading" as the system may take up to 2 minutes to create the tasks).

11. How long does the file upload process take?

Uploading the file takes a few seconds. However, the system may take up to 2 minutes to create all the tasks from the uploaded file.
