How the updated bulk task upload works

Bulk task upload is a tool that lets you upload up to 1,500 tasks using a single Excel file. It's especially useful for clients handling large volumes of tasks, helping to significantly reduce manual work.

Step 1: Prepare the file

  • Go to the Tasks section.
  • Click Bulk task upload.
  • In the pop-up window, click Download Exel Template.

The template includes:

  • 8 required columns for task details
  • 2 helper columns to guide you through the process
  • Some cells are locked (e.g., column names and descriptions)

Step 2: Select services in the file

  • The Services tab contains all current categories and services.
  • It updates automatically when the file is opened — provided the user enables external content (click Enable Content in the Excel warning bar).

Step 3: Upload the file

  • Fill out the file.
  • Return to the import window.
  • Upload the file and click Upload.

Possible upload errors:

  • File is empty.
  • Task limit exceeded (maximum: 1,500).
  • File size exceeds 10 MB.
  • Unsupported format (only .xlsx files are accepted).

Step 4: Review & fix errors

After uploading:

  • You'll see the import status in the Imports list.
  • Once complete, open the import to view all created tasks.

If errors occurred:

  • You'll get a notification about partial failure.

Download the error file — problematic cells will be highlighted in red with tooltips.

Fix the errors directly in the file.

    Reupload via:

    • The warning banner
    • More actions → Add tasks

Adding multiple files to a single import

You can add tasks from different files into the same import — this is especially useful when working with tasks from multiple departments.

To do this:

  1. Open the desired import.
  2. Click More actions → Add tasks.
  3. Upload the next file.

Mass cancellation or payment of all tasks

When working with a large number of tasks, you can use the following buttons:

  • Pay for all tasks

  • Cancel all tasks

The system will automatically apply actions only to tasks in eligible statuses.

Renaming an import

To keep things organized, you can set a custom name for your import:

  1. Click the Rename bulk import button.
  2. Enter the desired name.
